This explanation of Jidoka, highlighted to me, that more than a mechanism it is a process. It is not only important to know that the thread breaks but also to learn why the thread breaks and to prevent (Poka Yoke) the thread from breaking. I also received loud and clear that it is not a them process but a personal process or habit of continuous improvement. I have been a quality professional for 39 years and 23 years invested on the lean journey, thank you for laying it out so I could come to a deeper understanding of Jidoka.
