A very interesting video of a lesson from professor Bob Pozen. He reveals secrets about productivity and high performance.
Some of the core message I have got from this video:
- Work for your goals, not for the others’ goals.
- 80% of the e-mail are rubbish. Select what is meaningful by the subject. Answer quickly to 20% of the e-mail that is relevant to your goal.
- Do not be a perfectionist on what is not important (i.e. a monthly report of 5 pages that nobody reads).
I have found a lot of Lean Thinking in this lesson.
